The Rebar Scanner is a portable, ergonomically designed intelligent non-destructive testing instrument for the structural inspection of reinforced concrete, measuring rebar cover depth, rebar diameter, and the distribution of reinforcement at the concrete surface.
How It Works
The scanner is passed across the concrete surface; its electromagnetic sensor detects the embedded reinforcing bars, and the touchable 854 x 480 full-colour LCD screen displays the measured concrete cover depth, estimated rebar diameter, and rebar spacing/distribution in real time, with data transferable via Bluetooth or USB for reporting.
