The Scanner Rebar is a portable, ergonomically designed intelligent non-destructive testing instrument for the structural inspection of reinforced concrete, offering an extended measurement range and additional accuracy features compared with the standard Rebar Scanner model.
How It Works
A high-precision linear Hall sensor detects embedded reinforcing bars as the unit is passed across the concrete surface; support for stirrup spacing and diameter correction improves cover-depth measurement accuracy, and the high-power solid transmitting coil gives strong anti-interference performance. Results are shown on the touchable 854 x 480 full-colour LCD screen and can be analysed further using the accompanying professional PC software, with data transferable via Bluetooth or USB.
