Vibrating Compaction Hammer Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : TVT-STE-10573
The Vibrating Compaction Hammer is a versatile electric compaction tool used to compact Proctor and CBR soil specimens in the laboratory, and, with appropriate tamping feet ordered separately, concrete cube/beam specimens and asphalt in the percentage refusal density (PRD) test.
How It Works
The hammer delivers rapid, high-frequency vibrating impacts through an interchangeable tamping foot to compact material into a mould in controlled layers, giving a consistent compactive effort that is faster and more repeatable than manual rodding or rammer compaction. Because the tamping foot can be changed to suit the material and mould size, the same hammer body serves soil compaction, concrete specimen compaction and asphalt refusal-density testing; the appropriate tamping foot and mould adaptor must be ordered as separate accessories.

Applications
For soil compaction, the vibrating hammer method is used where a vibratory compactive effort is specified as an alternative to standard/modified Proctor rodding, per BS 1377 (Part 4): Compaction-Related Tests and the CBR mould compaction referenced in IS 2720 (Parts 7 & 8). For asphalt mixtures, the same hammer is used to compact specimens for the Percentage Refusal Density (PRD) test per BS 598 (Part 104): Method for the Determination of Percentage Refusal Density and Refusal Air Voids Content, and it can additionally compact concrete cube/beam specimens when fitted with the appropriate concrete tamping foot.
