Thermostatic Control Curing Tank

Product Code : TVT-CTE-10461

The Thermostatic Control Curing Tank is a heated, temperature-controlled water curing tank for concrete test specimens, built with a galvanized-steel tank body and fully hot-deep-galvanized accessories for corrosion protection.

How It Works

The tank's 2000W heating element and thermostatic control maintain the curing water at the specified standard curing temperature regardless of ambient conditions, which is important in locations or seasons where room temperature would otherwise drift outside the standard curing range. Concrete cubes, cylinders, or beams are fully submerged for the specified curing period at this controlled temperature before being removed for testing.

Applications

Used for temperature-controlled water curing of concrete test specimens per ASTM C511 and IS 516, which specify the standard curing water temperature range — the thermostatic heater keeps the tank within that range in labs or seasons where ambient temperature would otherwise fall below it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does this curing tank need thermostatic heating?
ASTM C511/IS 516 specify a standard curing water temperature range; in cold climates or seasons, ambient water temperature can fall below that range, and the 2000W thermostatic heater keeps the tank within the required range.

What is the tank made of?
A galvanized-steel tank body, with the remaining accessories fully hot-deep-galvanized for corrosion resistance.

How does this differ from the Accelerating Concrete Curing Tank?
This tank maintains the standard ambient-range curing temperature per ASTM C511/IS 516 for normal-duration curing; the Accelerating Concrete Curing Tank heats specimens up to 90°C to predict later-age strength from an early accelerated-curing test per ASTM C684/IS 9013 — a different purpose.
