Portable Specimen Cutting Machine Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : TVT-CTE-10490
The Portable Specimen Cutting Machine is specially developed to cut rock and concrete core samples, fitted with a solid clamping device that holds irregularly shaped specimens firmly in position during the cutting operation.
How It Works
The specimen (a drilled core or an irregular rock/concrete sample) is secured on the machine's table using the solid clamping device, which is designed to hold irregular shapes firmly and safely despite their lack of flat reference faces. The diamond blade then cuts the specimen to length and squares its ends, producing flat, parallel bearing surfaces suitable for subsequent compressive or other strength testing without needing to rely solely on a capping compound to correct end geometry.

Frequently Asked Questions
What types of specimens can this machine cut?
Concrete core samples and rock specimens, including irregularly shaped pieces, thanks to its solid clamping device.
What is the maximum specimen height it can cut?
100 mm cutting height, with a 14" (350mm) diameter blade.
Why cut and square core ends instead of only capping them?
Cutting corrects gross length and squareness issues in a core sample before it is tested, which capping compound alone (used for finer end-flatness correction) is not designed to address.
