The Portable Flexural Test Device from Tvet Equipments is an economical, simple three-point flexural test jig with a single upper roller that fits any type of compression machine, letting laboratories add concrete beam flexural testing to existing equipment.
How It Works
A concrete beam specimen is supported on two lower bearers within the device's frame, and the compression machine's ram applies load through the device's single upper roller at the beam's mid-span, in a center-point (three-point) loading configuration. The device accommodates two common beam specimen sizes, giving laboratories flexibility for different maximum aggregate sizes.
