Mild Steel Beam Moulds Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : TVT-CTE-10479
Mild Steel Beam Moulds are concrete beam specimen moulds available in two construction styles — welded type and "C" channel type — for casting beams used in flexural strength testing, complementing Tvet Equipments' cast-iron beam mould range.
How It Works
Fresh concrete is placed and compacted (by tamping or vibration) into the assembled mild-steel mould to cast a beam specimen of precise, repeatable dimensions with true, parallel faces, then cured and demoulded once set. The welded-type construction is offered across all four standard beam sizes, while the "C" channel type construction is offered in the two larger 150mm cross-section sizes.

Applications
Used to cast standard-size concrete beam specimens for flexural strength (modulus of rupture) testing per ASTM C31, ASTM C192, IS 516, and EN 12390-1, as a mild-steel alternative to cast-iron beam moulds.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the welded type and "C" channel type construction?
Both cast the same standard beam dimensions; they differ in frame construction method (welded joints vs. "C"-section channel framing), which affects rigidity and overall mould weight — the "C" channel versions are slightly heavier at the same nominal beam size.
Are both construction types available in all four sizes?
Welded type is available in all four sizes (100x100x400/500mm and 150x150x600/750mm); "C" channel type is listed only for the two larger 150mm cross-section sizes (600mm and 750mm length).
How does this differ from the Cast Iron Beam Moulds product?
This range uses mild-steel construction rather than cast iron, in the same standard beam sizes, giving buyers a material choice based on budget and durability preference.
