Oil-Water Constant Pressure Tester Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : TVT-STE-10599
The Oil-Water Constant Pressure Tester is a versatile pressure-supply system that provides continuously variable, stable hydraulic pressure for use alongside a wide range of soil testing equipment, such as triaxial and permeability systems.
How It Works
Pressure is increased or decreased simply by turning a control wheel, with a clear hydraulic/water interface reservoir allowing up to one litre of water to be delivered under pressure while keeping the pressurising oil and the test water physically separated. The unit provides continuously variable pressure up to 2500 kPa, giving precise, stable control over confining, back or cell pressure without the surges associated with simpler compressed-air or weight-based systems; it is supplied without a gauge, so a separate pressure-monitoring gauge or transducer suited to the connected test system must be fitted.

Applications
This constant-pressure system is used to supply confining, back or cell pressure for triaxial testing (ASTM D2850/D4767/D7181, IS 2720 Parts 11–13) and for flexible-wall permeability testing of low-permeability soils, where a stable, precisely controllable pressure source is essential for reliable results. Its versatile design allows it to serve multiple test set-ups in a laboratory rather than being dedicated to one machine.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is a gauge not included?
The unit is designed to be used with a wide range of test equipment, so a pressure gauge or monitoring device suited to the specific connected system is selected and ordered separately.
What is the maximum pressure this system can supply?
It provides continuously variable pressure up to 2500 kPa.
Why keep the hydraulic oil and test water separate?
A clear hydraulic/water interface reservoir lets pressure be transmitted to the water supply without oil contaminating the water delivered to the test specimen or cell.
