The K-Slump Tester gives a rapid, in-place assessment of the flow and consistency of freshly mixed concrete, with results that can be correlated against conventional slump values.
How It Works
The probe of the tester is inserted directly into freshly mixed concrete (in a truck, hopper, or freshly placed mass); the depth to which mortar flows into the probe's slots over a short time interval is read directly off the tester's graduated stem, giving a fast, on-the-spot consistency reading without needing to mould and strike a full slump cone sample.
