The Portable Slump Cone Apparatus is a chrome-plated, corrosion-resistant slump cone set built onto its own base-plate frame, giving a more convenient, self-contained field version of the standard slump test for concrete mixes of medium and high workability.
How It Works
The cone (100mm top diameter, 200mm base diameter, 300mm height) is fitted to an integrated base plate and frame, allowing the mould to be filled, rodded in three layers, struck off, and lifted vertically away with the base plate holding position steady, without needing a separate flat surface to be levelled and set up each time. The concrete's slump — the vertical settlement after mould removal — is then measured in the usual way to assess consistency and workability.
