The Flexural Testing Machine is a bench-top, digitally controlled 50kN machine for flexural, breaking and compression strength testing, using two lower rounded metal bearers spaced at the specimen's span and a single rounded upper bearer positioned centrally between them.
How It Works
The specimen rests across two lower bearers while a single upper bearer, positioned centrally, applies load through a DC motor; the machine can run under load control or displacement control, using suitable accessories, up to its full capacity. A digital graphics data-acquisition and control system records the test in real time, with the upper cross head adjustable to set the vertical test space for different specimen sizes.
