The Portable Specimen Cutting Machine 450mm Dia Blade is a larger-capacity version of Tvet Equipments' specimen cutting range, specially developed to cut rock flagstones and larger core samples, fitted with a solid clamping device for holding irregular specimens firmly during cutting.
How It Works
The specimen is secured on the table with the solid clamping device, which holds irregularly shaped rock flagstones and cores firmly and safely in position. The larger 450mm (18") diameter blade and correspondingly larger cutting envelope (150mm height x 600mm length) let this model handle bigger specimens than the standard 350mm-blade cutting machine, producing flat, parallel bearing surfaces suitable for subsequent compressive or other strength testing.
