The Digital Pull Out Tester determines the bond strength between anchored reinforcing steel bar (rebar) and concrete, and checks anchorage performance in-situ, reading load on a digital gauge and covering rebar diameters up to 32mm across a range of hydraulic jack capacities.
How It Works
A hand pump drives the hydraulic jack (single-acting on lower-capacity units, double-acting on higher-capacity units) to apply a steadily increasing pull-out force to the anchored rebar through a matched specimen wedge and puller rod, while the digital load gauge displays the applied force. The unit is supplied with a set of specimen wedges sized to different rebar diameters, so the same jack can test anchorage bars of different sizes made from high-strength steel.
