The Concrete Pipe Tester is a hydraulically powered, touch-screen-controlled testing machine designed to test concrete sewer, drain and irrigation-supply pipes for compression and flexural strength, built from a robust steel testing frame with hydraulic loading.
How It Works
The pipe specimen is loaded between the testing frame's bearers and compressed via a double-acting hydraulic cylinder with 500mm ram travel, controlled through the Smart Console Unit's touch-screen interface; load is measured through a load sensor of 500kN maximum capacity at 0.1kN sensitivity, with the cross beam positioned via an electrical gear-motor system. Test data can be printed or transferred to specified data-transfer software, and professional analysis software automates test report generation.
