The Flow Table Apparatus 30kg is a concrete flow-table set comprising a steel flow table, conical mould and wooden tamper, used to assess the workability and flow consistency of fresh concrete mixes.
How It Works
The conical mould is filled with fresh concrete in layers and tamped, then lifted vertically away from the concrete. The table top is then raised and dropped through a fixed height a set number of times, causing the concrete to spread outward. The average spread diameter of the concrete after this standard jolting sequence is a measure of the mix's flow and workability — a larger spread indicates a more flowable mix.
