The Hand Held Coring Machine is a lightweight, handheld electrical core drilling machine used in the laboratory and on site to cut core samples from concrete, rock, or other hardened material, up to 80mm diameter.
How It Works
A diamond-tipped core bit (matched to the required core diameter) is fitted to the spindle, and the motor's built-in water swivel feeds cooling water to the bit during drilling to control heat and flush cuttings, with a drainage water outlet carrying the slurry away. A safety friction clutch disengages the drive if the bit binds, making the machine easier and safer to control by hand, while a clamp holds the material firmly and a sliding front gives access to the specimen during the cutting cycle.
