The Digital Pull Off Tester 25kN determines the bonding strength of concrete overlay adhesion and applied coatings — including plasters, mortars, tiles, bituminous coats and paints — testing at any point on the component without requiring specimen preparation beyond coring to the test disc's diameter.
How It Works
A test disc is bonded to the surface being tested, and a suitable coring depth matching the disc diameter is cut around it to isolate the test area from the surrounding surface; the tester then applies a steadily increasing tensile pull-off force through the disc until failure, with the digital unit capturing the peak load on its LED display and in its data memory.
