The Universal Loading Frame is a low-capacity, microprocessor-controlled loading system designed as an accessory for uniaxial and unconfined compression tests, including triaxial and unconfined compressive strength testing on soil specimens.
How It Works
A stepper motor drives the loading platen at a precisely controlled, selectable speed while a microprocessor-based control unit with a keypad and large LED display manages the test sequence and displays load/deformation data in real time. The low-capacity design suits the relatively small loads involved in triaxial, unconfined compression and similar soil-strength tests, giving accurate, repeatable strain rates across a wide speed range.
