Thermostatic Asphalt Planetary Mixer Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : TVT-BATE-10372
The Thermostatic Asphalt Planetary Mixer from Tvet Equipments produces homogeneous, uniform bituminous mix samples for tensile splitting, compaction, Marshall, and other tests where consistent mixing is essential, using a horizontal tilting thermostatic drum.
How It Works
Aggregate and heated bitumen are loaded into the horizontal drum, which tilts through 130 degrees for easy loading and discharge. A PID temperature control unit with digital display maintains the mixing chamber at the target temperature, while planetary and spindle mixing action (independently adjustable, planetary 0-55 rpm and spindle 0-92 rpm) blends the components into a uniform, efficient mixture in a short cycle time, set on the digital timer (1-999 seconds). Once mixing is complete, the drum is turned over fully to discharge the finished bituminous mixture cleanly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. What is the mixing capacity of this unit?
It has a 10-litre mixing capacity within a 20-litre drum, sized for laboratory-scale bituminous mix preparation.
Q2. Why does the drum tilt?
The 130-degree tilting drum makes it easy to load aggregate and bitumen and, at the end of mixing, to fully turn over and discharge the finished mixture without manual scraping.
Q3. Can mixing speed be adjusted independently for different mixes?
Yes, planetary speed (0-55 rpm) and spindle speed (0-92 rpm) can each be set independently, letting the operator tune the mixing action to the mix design being prepared.
