The Digital Ductilometer Apparatus Tension (Load Series) from Tvet Equipments measures both the elongation and the tension load a bituminous briquette specimen develops before breaking, using a built-in 1000 N load cell for laboratories that need force data in addition to standard ductility results. Note: this unit is supplied without briquette moulds, which must be ordered separately.
How It Works
The single-specimen carriage is fitted with a load cell and mould guide piece, so as the servo-driven double ball screw pulls the specimen apart at a set speed inside the temperature-controlled water trough, the instrument records both the elongation reached at break and the tension load developed throughout the pull. Results are displayed on a high-accuracy LED readout, up to 10 test groups can be stored, and a built-in mini printer can output the instant result together with the average of 3 test groups.
