This Shrinkage Mould is used for the determination of linear shrinkage of concrete, made from polish-surface mild steel, available in two specimen sizes with substantially leak-proof, distortion-resistant construction and a smooth internal finish.
How It Works
Fresh concrete or mortar is cast into the mould to form a prism specimen of the selected size; the specimen is later fitted with gauge studs and measured over time using a length comparator apparatus to determine the linear shrinkage as the specimen dries and cures.
