The Concrete Test Hammer is a durable, aluminium-cased rebound hammer for evaluating the compressive strength of concrete non-destructively, rated for up to 50,000 test cycles and fitted with a soft silicone cap for comfortable handling.
How It Works
A spring-loaded plunger is pressed against the concrete surface until it releases and strikes; the hammer's internal mass rebounds off the plunger, and the rebound distance is read on the built-in scale as a rebound number, which is correlated (via calibration charts or curves) to an estimated in-situ compressive strength.
