The Coring Machine 18kg is a mid-size electrical core drilling machine for laboratory and site use, cutting core samples up to 165mm diameter from concrete, rock, or other hardened material, with a waterproof switch, soft starting, safety clutch and overload protection.
How It Works
A diamond-tipped core bit is fitted to the 1 inch/3P spindle thread, and the motor's built-in water swivel supplies cooling water to the bit during drilling, with the side-guard-mounted drainage outlet carrying away the resulting water and slurry. Soft starting brings the motor up to speed gradually to reduce shock loading on the bit and drive, while the safety clutch and overload protection disengage the drive if the bit binds. Gear speed-regulation lets the operator match spindle speed to the core diameter and material being cut, and a clamp secures the workpiece with a sliding front for access to the specimen.
