Advance Digital Ductilometer Apparatus

Product Code : TVT-BATE-10346

The Advance Digital Ductilometer Apparatus from Tvet Equipments determines the ductility of bituminous materials by measuring the elongation a briquette specimen achieves before breaking when its two ends are pulled apart at a specified speed and temperature. Note: this unit is supplied without briquette moulds, which must be ordered separately.

How It Works

A briquette specimen is mounted between fixed and moving clips inside a temperature-controlled water trough, maintained by an immersion heater, cooling coil, and circulating pump. A double ball-screw driven by a servo motor pulls the moving clip away at a uniform, precisely controlled speed until the specimen thread breaks, and the elongation reached is displayed on a high-accuracy LED readout; up to 10 groups of test results can be stored for later reference.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Are briquette moulds included?
No, this apparatus is supplied without briquette moulds; moulds need to be ordered separately to suit the specimen size required.

Q2. What test speeds are available?
The instrument offers two elongation speed settings, 10 mm/min or 50 mm/min, to match different ductility test procedures.

Q3. How many specimens can be tested at once?
Up to 3 specimen carriages can be run simultaneously, and the instrument can save up to 10 groups of test results for later reference.
