How It Works
Sample bottles, each containing bitumen-coated aggregate immersed in water, are loaded onto the unit's bottle tracks (two tracks, accepting various bottle sizes). The robustly constructed drive rotates the bottles about their long axis at an adjustable speed, gently agitating the coated aggregate against the water over the specified test duration so the degree of bitumen stripping can be visually assessed afterward.
