Universal Extruder 38 kg Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : TVT-STE-10588
The Universal Extruder (38 kg) is a heavier-duty hydraulic ram-based accessory that allows Marshall, CBR and Proctor soil samples to be removed cleanly and easily from their moulds after compaction.
How It Works
The compacted mould is positioned over the extruder chamber and a hydraulic ram is advanced to push the compacted specimen out of the mould in a single, controlled stroke, avoiding the specimen disturbance that can result from manual extraction methods. The extruder accommodates the common 4 in., 6 in., 100 mm and 150 mm mould sizes used across Marshall, CBR and Proctor compaction testing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which mould sizes fit this extruder?
It accommodates 4 in., 6 in., 100 mm and 150 mm diameter Marshall, CBR and Proctor moulds.
When would the 38 kg model be preferred over the 28 kg model?
The heavier 38 kg frame and its ram travel range may suit laboratories that prefer a sturdier bench-mounted unit; both models serve the same mould range.
Does the extruder damage the specimen during removal?
No, the controlled hydraulic ram stroke is designed to push the specimen out evenly, reducing the risk of disturbance compared with manual extraction.
