Digital Pull Off Tester 6 kN (Bond Strength) Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : TVT-CMTE-10413
The Digital Pull Off Tester 6 kN (Bond Strength) from Tvet Equipments measures the bond/adhesion strength of concrete overlays, coatings, plasters, tiles and other applied surface treatments directly on site or in the laboratory, without requiring separate specimen preparation beyond a test-disc-diameter core.
How It Works
A test disc matching the coring diameter is bonded to the surface under test, and a suitable depth core is cut around it down to the substrate to isolate the test area. The digital tester's bracket is then positioned over the disc and a tensile pull-off force is applied until the disc detaches, with the digital gauge recording peak load to 0.001 kN sensitivity and displaying the result on its 55 mm LED screen — giving a direct bond/adhesion strength reading at any measuring point on the component.

Applications
This pull-off tester is used to measure bond/adhesion strength to ASTM D4541 / ASTM C1583 / EN 1542, covering applications from concrete overlay and repair-mortar adhesion to coatings, plasters, tiles and bituminous coats, wherever a quantified pull-off bond strength value is required for quality assurance or acceptance testing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. What standards govern pull-off bond strength testing?
ASTM D4541, ASTM C1583 and EN 1542 all specify pull-off test methods for measuring bond/adhesion strength of coatings, overlays and repair materials.
Q2. Does the test require special specimen preparation?
No separate specimen is needed — the tester works at any measuring point on the existing component, though a core matching the test disc diameter must be cut down to the substrate before pulling.
Q3. What materials can be tested?
It is suitable for concrete overlay adhesion and for measuring the bond strength of applied coatings such as mortars, plasters, tiles, bituminous coats, and paints or coatings on metal.
