Digital Display Charpy Impact Testing Machine 50J

Product Code : TVT-STE-10618

The Digital Display Charpy Impact Testing Machine 50J is a single-chip microcomputer-controlled Charpy impact tester with digital (LCD) energy display, purpose-built for non-metallic materials.

How It Works

A pendulum hammer is released electrically to strike a notched specimen; the impact energy absorbed by the specimen is measured and shown directly on the LCD display, with the system able to store up to ten readings per sample set, delete individual results, and automatically calculate strength and average strength values before printing a data report.

Applications

Data-quality note: per its source specification, this machine is designed for non-metallic materials — hard plastics, fibre-reinforced composites, glass-fibre-reinforced plastic, ceramics, asbestos and similar — and is equipped with both V-notch and U-notch fixtures, rather than being a metals-only Charpy machine. It complements the metals-focused Semi Auto Pendulum Impact Tester in the Tvet Equipments range for laboratories that need to test non-metallic specimens alongside steel.
