The Digimatic Load Cell is a high-accuracy, digital-readout load and force verification device consisting of a sensitive steel-block strain element housed in a protective sheathing, used for calibrating compression testing machines.
How It Works
As load is applied through the compression testing machine under calibration, strain in the sensitive steel-block element is transmitted to an amplifier, which converts it into a digital load reading. Comparing this reading against the testing machine's own indicated load verifies the machine's force accuracy across its working range.
