Autoclave Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : TVT-CMTE-10415
The Autoclave from Tvet Equipments is a high-pressure steam vessel built from special alloy steel, used to determine the autoclave expansion (soundness) of Portland cement specimens under controlled high-pressure, high-temperature steam conditions.
How It Works
Cured cement paste bar specimens (cast in a two-gang or similar prism mould with embedded gauge studs) are loaded into the autoclave's 158 mm diameter, 460 mm deep internal chamber, which holds up to 9 specimens per run. The vessel is sealed and steam pressure is raised to a controlled maximum of 2.2 MPa via the system control compartment and pressure regulator, subjecting the specimens to accelerated hydration conditions. After the prescribed autoclave cycle, specimens are cooled and re-measured for length change to determine the percentage expansion.
