Magnetic stirrer couplings with ground joint Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : TVT-CELE-10736
Magnetic Stirrer Couplings with Ground Joint use a permanent magnetic coupling to drive a stirrer shaft through a sealed ground-glass joint, allowing reliable mixing inside a vessel operating under vacuum without any physical shaft penetration of the seal.
How It Works
A magnetic coupling transmits rotational drive from the external motor through the vessel wall to the internal stirrer shaft without a direct mechanical connection, which is what allows the assembly to maintain vacuum integrity at the ground joint. The drive shaft is supplied with a 6 mm external square stub for connection to a compatible overhead stirrer or motor, and an FKM seal combined with a stainless-steel ball bearing supports smooth, reliable rotation at the rated speed.

Applications
Data note: this product is catalogued under Tvet Equipments' Civil Engineering Lab Equipment category, but is a laboratory stirring accessory rather than a civil/materials-testing apparatus — this reflects a catalog categorisation mismatch already flagged at the category level. Magnetic stirrer couplings with a ground joint are used in chemistry and process laboratories for mixing under vacuum or inert-atmosphere conditions, where a conventional shaft seal would risk leaks or contamination.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why use a magnetic coupling instead of a direct shaft seal?
The magnetic coupling drives the stirrer shaft without a physical penetration of the seal, maintaining vacuum integrity at the ground joint.
What is the maximum rotational speed?
It is rated for 2,500 rpm.
What materials is it made from?
The wetted parts are AISI 316L stainless steel with an FKM seal and a stainless-steel ball bearing.
