How It Works
Cooling is provided by an air-cooled compressor with direct temperature measurement at the cooling surface, and the condenser can be pre-cooled to avoid a delayed start or accidental thawing of samples once loading begins. The unit stores 3 program places, each with 3 drying stages, and every stage carries adjustable parameters such as hold-up time and vacuum setpoint. Operation is via a 4.3-inch colour touch screen, which displays live condenser temperature, vacuum level (mbar) and elapsed time during a run, and the ice condenser defrosts automatically at the end of a cycle. A stainless steel housing, resistant to commercial disinfectants, and a variable shelf space round out the design for routine lab use.
