The Professional Wireless Rain Gauge is a self-emptying tipping-bucket rain collector that wirelessly transmits rainfall and temperature data to a dedicated display unit.
How It Works
The fully assembled and pre-calibrated outdoor rain collector automatically empties itself after each measurement cycle, transmitting rainfall and temperature readings by low-power radio frequency to the indoor display unit up to 150m away (line of sight); the display shows real-time clock, hourly rain rate, and a graphical histogram of rainfall pattern over a selected time-scale, retaining stored data even through a battery change, with an alarm function including ice-alert.
