How It Works
The kit's dibber, scraper, steel pointed rod, club hammer, chisel, spade, pickaxe, ladle, screwdriver set, half-round chisel, trimming saw, and trimming knife are used together to excavate a small test hole to the required depth, trim its walls smooth, and remove the excavated soil for weighing, forming the manual excavation stage of the sand replacement (sand-cone) method of field density testing.
