The Display Data Logger is a multi-channel data acquisition instrument with a 4.3-inch colour display, offering 10 isolated analog channels, 4 digital channels and 4 alarm outputs for comprehensive process and environmental monitoring in the laboratory or plant. With 4GB of internal memory, an SDHC card slot (supporting cards up to 32GB) and a USB PC interface, it is built to record extended datasets and transfer them for analysis using the included APS software.
How It Works
Each of the ten analog channels is fully isolated with balanced input, and the unit scans channels sequentially for sampling via screw (M3) terminal connections. It accepts a wide range of input signal types — voltage (20 mV to 100 V and 1-5V full scale), thermocouple types K, J, E, T, R, S, B, N and W (WRe5-26), and relative humidity via an optional humidity sensor — with selectable moving-average filtering (off, 2, 5, 10, 20 or 40 samples) to smooth noisy readings. A 16-bit Sigma-Delta A/D converter provides effective resolution of 1/40,000 of the measuring range, and the instrument supports wireless LAN connectivity for remote monitoring and smartphone access, along with expandable memory via SD card for long-duration logging runs.
