The Erlenmeyer Flask (125ml, PETG) is a single-use, flat-bottomed flask ideal for the suspension of cell culture, media preparation, mixing and storage, manufactured from virgin PETG for break-resistant durability.
How It Works
Because the flask is made from virgin PETG rather than glass, it is robust and break-resistant, reducing the risk of injury or sample loss from an accidental drop. It is supplied with a vented HDPE screw cap fitted with a 0.22 µm microporous hydrophobic PTFE membrane, which allows continuous gas exchange in and out of the flask — important for cell culture respiration — while blocking the entry of contaminants. The flask is gamma-radiation sterilised and intended as a single-use, laboratory-only item.
